Celebrated Radio Personality, Captain Smart has reportedly quit his new station Angel FM.
Godsbrain Smart as he is affectionately called left Multimedia’s Adom FM 6 months ago to join Angel FM as manager and morning show host of ‘Anopa Bofo)’.
Joining Angel FM Accra in May, 2020, Captain Smart has helped boost the stations listenership more than 3 times fold. He joined with the likes of Kofi Adoma Nwanwanii, and Nana Yaa Brefo who were formerly working with him at Multimedia.
However, few months down the line reports have surfaced online that the popular morning show host has quit Angel FM Accra.
According to Ghpage, he has been absent on his show for more than 3 days giving fans a reason to suspect that the broadcaster has quit.
Well, being absent for more than 3 days as host on a popular show does not neccesarily mean as such. It has been a practice across media circles as presenters go off air for some personal reasons, be it; Vacation, sick leave or other matters of great concern.
Meanwhile, as it stands now there has not been any official communication from either ABN – Angel Broadcasting Network, parent company of Angel FM or the presenter.
Captain Smart has previously worked with Fox FM, OTEC FM, Kesewaa Radio in kumasi before joining Adom FM for 7 years.
