Ghana’s Kofi Kingston is considering Retirement

WWE Champion, Kofi Kingston has considered a possible retirement from wrestling after he is done with his contract.

The Ghanaian-American Professional wrestler told Newsweek he has considered retiring after his contract with WWE.

“I’ve definitely thought about that, it’s really early to say that but at the end of this five years might be the end of my career”.

He further stated that his retirement will not come as a result of injury but due to him not being home with his family.

“Being away from my kids is very difficult. We had to go an extra day last week and we had a live event and then media day in Minneapolis, and then we had TLC and then I came home Monday and then back on the road Tuesday.”

Kofi Kingston is thinking about his family

The father of two (2) has been one of the popular black wrestlers in the US, having won SmackDown Tag Team Championship for four times as a member of The New Day.

Kofi Kingston, also known as born Kofi Nahaje Sarkodie-Mensah was born in Kumasi before moving to the United States with his family.

He married his longtime girlfriend Cori Campfield in 2010
