Kwadwo Asamoah omitted from Inter Milan’s Europa League squad

04/02/2020

Serie A giants Inter Milan have dropped Ghana international Kwadwo Asamoah from their squad for the 2019/20 UEFA Europa League campaign.

Asamoah failed to make the final cut due to lack of fitness after being on the sidelines since November last year and has missed a large part of the season so far.

His persistent injuries forced Antonio Conte to omit the 31-year-old from his final squad for Europa League campaign.

The Ghanaian, who is contracted to the Milanese club until 2021, was on the bench for the 2-0 victory at Udinese, due to his uncertain physical condition.

The player is still not fully fit from the knee problems.

The Nerazzurri dropped into the UEFA Europa League after losing to Barcelona in the Champions League group stage.

Meanwhile, new signing Eriksen, Moses and Young are all included in Conte’s squad.
