Black Stars head coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor continued his European tour of visiting Ghanaian players by calling on Brentford forward Tarriq Fosu and Newcastle’s Christian Atsu in England.
The Black Stars coach, CK Akonnor’s itenary for the United Kingdom includes visiting other players in England to have a closer look at some players of Ghanaian origin.
Coach Akonnor has already visited Ghana skipper and his brother Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew as well Crystal Palace’s defender Jeffrey Schlupp as part of his European tour of visiting.
Black Stars coach CK Akonnor was at the Kassam Stadium to watch Christian Atsu in their FACup game with Oxford. Atsu came on in extra time as Newcastle won 3-2.
Fosu joined English Championship side Brentford on a three-and-a-half-year contract, with the option of a further year for an undisclosed fee.
He spent two years at Charlton Athletic before joining Oxford last summer
