Ghana’s President., Nana Akuffo Addo has announced the closure of all borders in the country, be it Sea, Land and Air.
The President announced on Saturday when he addressed the country for the 3rd time since the disease was first confirmed in Ghana.
With 19 confirmed cases in Ghana, 1 person had passed on in the early hours of Saturday, March 21, the President revealed.
However, to reduce and control the spread of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic, the President pleaded with Ghanaians to comply with the preventive measures outlined by the WHO.
The President pledged to safeguard Ghana’s future in his fight against the Coronavirus, with the procurement of 50,000 Test kits and other protective equipments for frontline workers.
