Fomena MP Lawyer Andrew Assiamah is 2nd Deputy Speaker of Parliament

The Fomena MP has been elected as the 2nd Deputy Speaker of the 8th Parliament of Ghana.

He is the only independent MP in the 8th Parliament.

He replaces Alban Bagbin who was the 2nd Deputy speaker in the 7th Parliament.
