Fake Soldier nabbed after beating and collecting money from people; video drops

Vibeweek.com has sighted a video going round social media that is believed to be a fake soldier who was nabbed in a military uniform.

The fake Soldier was said to be collecting money from people, in order to permit them to walk around amidst the lockdown in Accra and Kumasi.

Vibeweek.com do not know how he was arrested and where exactly this happened.

Covid-19 patient jumps wall to escape at Tamale

One of the ten Guinean and Burkinabe nationals who tested positive for Covid-19 in Ghana and were being held at Tamale in the Northern region has escaped.

According to Starr News Jonas  Biawurbi, the patient, a woman, “jumped the walls at the centre they are kept and escaped”.

Security officials are currently in search of the patient.

Meanwhile, twenty-two health professionals at the LEKMA Hospital at Teshie been put in quarantine after a medical doctor at the facility tested positive for coronavirus.

The unnamed physician is believed to have contracted the virus at A different health centre where he works on part-time basis.

Some of his colleagues have told Starr News they are scared especially as there are not enough PPEs to work with.

Commenting on the development, the municipal health director for LEKMA Jackie Farijlani told Starr News Tuesday the health directorate has taken enough measures to ensure health professionals are protected.

“He contracted the virus from another place but he is our staff and this got to our attention on Friday. And since then we have placed about 22 of the people we believe he came into contact with into quarantine so we can avoid a possible spread if any,” she said.
