The deadly coronavirus test results of Ghanaian fashion designer and actor, Elikem Kumodzi is out after being taken into custody on his arrival into the country from a trip abroad.
The negative test results came after he was placed under mandatory quarantine at a hotel in East Legon for a week by the Government of Ghana.
Although his test came out negative, the actor is expected to stay in the hotel until the 14-day mandatory period is over.
The actor who made this known to Abeiku Santana in an interview was full of admiration for the government for their efforts at ensuring the comfort of all persons who have been quarantined.
“I am in a nice hotel here in East Legon and I must say the government has really done well. They serve us food three times a day. They call and give you three options to choose from and they deliver the food to our doorsteps. At first, they used to put it on the floor and we complained so now there are some small coffee tables in our rooms so we put them outside our doors and the hotel staff put the food on it,” he said.
He noted that some individuals do not understand why they are still being quarantined because their results have come out negative and therefore said there was the need for more education on the disease.
The former Big Brother house mate was hopeful that after the 14-days, he will be made to go home to join his family.
The actor used the opportunity to advise Ghanaians on the need to ensure the best of hygienic practices adding that there is the need to stay home if they have nothing important doing in town.
