The District Chief Executive of the Adansi South District in Ashanti Region, Hon. Francis K. Ankomah has donated items such us wheel Chair, fridge, iron sheet, laptop, Cement, hair dryer, corn mail, and other items amounting to GH 88,000 to the people with disabilities in his district.
According to the Honourable DCE, GH 2,000 were also used to buy drugs and cater for patients bills among the PWD’s.
The DCE advised the beneficiaries not to sell any item given to them.
The chairman of the PWD’s Mr. Amoako Agyei Isreal thanked the president, His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akkufo Addo for providing them such items. He added that, the NPP government has performed better than any government interms of providing for people with disabilities.
The presentation which took place at the Adansi South District Assembly premises was witnessed by the District health director, District police commander, Nananom and other stakeholders and dignitaries.
