Coronavirus: KNUST Students Jubilating after President announced closure of Schools, videos drop

Few minutes after the President of the republic Ghana, Akufo-Addo addressed the nation on coronavirus for the second time, KNUST students are happily celebrating.

At 10 pm on sunday 15th March, President Akufo-Addo addressed the Nation for the second time on coronavirus, announcing a four weeks closure of all schools in the country as a precaution measure against the world’s pandemic virus, Covid-19.

After his announcement, vibeweek.com sighted a video where students in hostels of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) were happily celebrating over the suspension.

Students were expected to write mid semester exams on Monday 16th March so after the late announcement, most ‘Unprepared’ students felt happy.

Many also were captured in another video leaving the school to their houses.

Ghana has so far confirmed 6 coronavirus cases of which over 150 cases are also being monitored.
