Black Stars Coach, Kwesi Appiah has announced his Ghana Best Eleven Squad in his Book ‘Leaders Don’t have to Yell’.
In his Squad, Abedi Pele, Asamoah Gyan, Samuel Osei Kufour, Michael Essien made it among other celebrated Ghanaian football stars.
However, celebrated Footballers including; Sulley Muntari and Tony Yeboah and others were no where to be found in his Best Eleven.
Sulley Muntari, 35, is a Ghanaian Footballer who is currently playing for the Spanish Side, Albacete Balompie. He received a lot of praises and honor when he played for the Black Stars in the 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cup.
The reason why Coach Kwesi Appiah may not have enlisted him as part of his Best Eleven could be what happened at the Black Stars camp during the 2014 World Cup, that led Kwesi Appiah to share tears and subsequently leading to Sulley Muntari and Prince Kelvin Boateng being sacked from the camp.
Since then, there have been rumors that Kwesi Appiah and Sulley Muntari are not in good terms with each other, and may have been the reason why Sulley Muntari did not make his list.
