Jamaican Reggae Legend, Buju Banton has revealed in his own assertion the origin of Reggae music and its culture in an interview.
Widely considered as one of the most regarded and a vital figure in Jamaican music, Buju Banton mentioned on Onstage TV that “the genes of reggae music comes from West Africa”.
He emphasized that reggae music originated from Nigeria, Togo, Gambia and some West African Countries.
Again, Vibeweek.com spotted excerpts of Stonebwoy’s video featured on the Jamaican based TV as Buju Banton was being interviewed. A fan of Stonebwoy by name @N9jastonebwoy first shared the video.
