Gianluigi Buffon has passed his medical ahead of re-joining Juventus on a free transfer.
Buffon checked into Juve’s J Medical facility on Thursday morning, and he has now completed his tests.
He is expected to sign a one-year contract with the Bianconeri imminently, before being announced as their latest signing.
The goalkeeper is then likely to retire at the end of next season and take up a coaching or directorial role with the club.
The 41-year-old is an Old Lady great, with almost 700 appearances and nine Scudetti to his name.
He spent last season with Paris Saint-Germain but left once his contract expired to pursue a return to Juve, where he can become Serie A’s record appearance holder.
