In the last few minutes UEFA have announced they will begin an ‘improper conduct’ investigation into Cristiano Ronaldo, following his celebrations against Atletico Madrid last week. Ronaldo is accused of provoking the Atletico fans, when he celebrated Juventus’ victory directly in front of them.
Ronaldo faces a potential ban if he is found guilty of the charge, and could miss the Champions League quarter-final tie against Ajax. UEFA will announce their findings on Thursday 21 March
