Breaking News: StarTimes Secures 5 years deal to Broadcast Ghana Premier League.

Ghana Football Association has concluded a 5 year Television Broadcast deal with Chinese Television Giants StarTimes to become the official Right owner of the Ghana Premier League and other products of the GFA.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) invited bids from Television networks across the globe to apply for the right to be official TV partners of the GPL, and this drew interest from TV giants Supersport, StarTimes, GTV, ESPN etc who all submitted applications in a bid to cover the GPL.

Startimes announced the deal of their Facebook page

The GFA has over the weeks engaged the applicants in negotiations, taking all factors into consideration to land a TV partner for the league.

The deal is expected to be announced by the Ghana Football Association every soon.
