Kotoko have been drawn with Nigerian side Kano Pillars in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
The draw which was done in Cairo on Sunday will see the Porcupine Warriors travel for the first leg tie at the General Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano on the weekend of August 9-11 before returning to Kumasi for the reverse fixture on the weekend of 23-25 August.
Kotoko secured the sole ticket to represent Ghana in the CAF Champions League after winning the Tier I of the NC Special Cup.
Kano Pillars on the others hand placed second in the Nigeria Professional Football League last season.
The Red are making their ninth CAF Champions League appearance and their first since 2015.
