President of the Nigerian Football Federation Amaju Pinnick has been removed as the 1st Vice President of the Confederation of African Football.
The decision was taken during the body’s Executive Committee meeting in Cairo on Thursday
Pinnick who replaced Kwesi Nyantakyi as the 1st Vice-President of CAF was sacked with reports suggesting he was responsible for releasing delicate information which resulted in the indictment of CAF President Ahmad Ahmad.
Amaju Pinnick is likely to be replaced by DR Congo FA President Constant Omari or Morocco FA President Faouzi Lekjaa who was recently accused of physically abusing a referee.
