Bosom P-Yung, the crooner of hit song ‘Attaa Adwoa’, has expressed his disappointment in Barclays Bank Ghana for illegally using his intellectual Property without prior permission.
A video was released on social media yesterday that had Lil win mimicking the hit song ‘Attaa Adwoa’ in a video allegedly commissioned by Barclays Bank Ghana, now Absa Group. This was as a result of their re-branding and renaming from Barclays to Absa Group.
Even though the bank has released an official statement denying any affiliation with the said video, but a section of Ghanaians are still not convinced about the statement they released yesterday.
Barclays said “We wish to distance ourselves from the said video and to state that neither Absa nor Barclays has commissioned anyone to produce or use our logo for such a production.“
However, ‘Attaa Adwoa’ singer has come hard at Barclays saying what they did was ‘unfair’.
