Ghanaian musician, Black Sherif has been trending on social media for being the only Ghanaian musician to be nominated for Best African Act in MTV Europe Musician Awards.
The star rose to fame after he released a song with Burna Boy title “Second Sermon”. The single “Second Sermon was topping charts in Ghana, Nigeria and all over the world.
Nominated as the best African Act Category, Black Sherif battles with celebrities like Burna Boy, Tems, Ayara Star and Minke.
The 2022 MTV Awards will be held at the Prudential Center in New York New Jersey on August 28, where international celebrities like Nicki Minaj, Drake and Doja Cat will be performing.
