Bishop Agyin Asare is ‘faker’ than Obinim – Wontumi

27/07/2020

Chairman Wontumi has in a new video responded to Bishop Agyin Asare’s claim that Ghanaian politicians do not respect citizens or their taxes.

Bishop Agyin Asare in a recent sermon took a swipe at Ghanaian governments with the NPP and NDC in perspective, for misusing taxpayers’ money and being the cause of the nation’s delayed development.

In a series of examples, he displayed the country’s lack of a development plan and a shortfall in the continuity of developmental projects started by previous governments.

According to the renowned man of God, the country’s development has and still faces hold-ups because of the envy among political parties and politicians.

Chairman Wontumi, on the other hand, has refuted Agyin Asare’s assertion and called him a hypocrite for only addressing the developmental issues of the nation under the current NPP government’s jurisdiction.

On his radio station, the outspoken Ashanti Regional Chairman for the ruling NPP mentioned that Agyin Asare holds prejudice against the NPP government and was obviously NDC bias.

He is quoted saying, ” Agyin Asare is faker than Obinim.”

Wontumi added that the Bishop should stay in his lane and not attack the incumbent government because his church is no longer fetching him the huge monies it used to due to the pandemic.

He addressed the Bishop’s earlier statements about never cheating on his wife and being a man of integrity.

He dared the minister to stay mute or faces his wrath as he threatened to expose his extra-marital affairs.

In the firebrand politician’s opinion, a man could not be judged by cheating on his wife and Agyin Asare’s claim to have never cheated on his wife doesn’t make him any better than others who have.
