The Ghanaian child actor who played Strika in the ‘Beast of No Nation’, Emmanuel Adom Quaye, has received an amount of GHS40,193 from his handler, Mr Kofi Robert.
The handler had been accused by the actor of duping him of his financial entitlement for starring in the 2015 movie.
Just last week, Strika lodged a formal complaint with the Central Police Station in Accra over the matter.
Mr Robert was invited by the police and ordered to hand over the account and its transactions to date to the actor.
On Tuesday, 16 July 2019, Strika’s handler closed the account he held in trust for him and handed over an amount of GHS40, 193 to the actor in the presence of his family at the Accra Regional Police Command.
