Footballer, Asamoah Gyan has taken to social media to school Ghanaians how to prevent Coronavirus in a traditional way.
The Coronavirus has infected 136 people in Ghana with 4 people dead.
As a result, the popular footballer has entreated Ghanaians on how to avoid the coronavirus in a video he posted on social media.
In the video, the iconic footballer was seen with a blanket and a bucket that contains leaves that is believe to be herbal medicine called ‘Nim Tree’.
According to Asamoah Gyan, the ‘Nim Tree’ must be boiled until it is very hot, then you put in a bucket and then you cover yourself with the blanket as you inhare the vapour coming from the boiled ‘Nim Tree’ for a couple of minutes. He said “it is very helpful”.
He therefore urged everybody to try it as they self-quarantine at home.
Asamoah captioned his video “Coronavirus is real and dangerous, stay home and follow the protocols by the WHO, Ministry of health and the President…be positive, spread calm not fear, boost your immune system and practice hygiene…resort to what our traditional fathers left for us.“
