Ghanaian Musician Article Wan‘s Manager and brother has been seriously injured after the main stage of Fuse ODG‘s TINAFEST 2020 collapsed.
He was rushed to the 37 Military Hospital minutes after the incident happened.
However, News reaching vibeweek.com this morning indicates, the brother and manager of Article Wan has undergone a successful surgery two days after the incident.
The TinaFest 2020 also dubbed Kente Party was held at the Labadi Beach/Polo Beach Club in Accra on Jan. 3.
Ghanaian blogger Sammy Kay who first broke the news on social media, said the metal joints which held the giant stage also fell on musician Article Wan’s brother who is now in critical condition.
He wrote:
Sad News ..This is the unfortunate accident that happened at the #Tinafest immediately after @articlewani gave the crowd a spectacular performance.
As soon as @fuseodg introduced @kwesiarthur_ on stage, the heavy metal stage truss holding the stage lights somersaulted backward causing injury to @articlewani ‘s brother’s head as blood was oozing out.
The unfortunate incident resulted in the closing of the event as @articlewani ‘s brother was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
His condition is not too cool, let’s remember him in prayers.”
