Undoubtedly, Africans are making greater strides in the field of entertainment and Lifestyle from the global acceptance of afrobeats to African fashion style penetrating across borders. Now we have the latest addition as an African climbed on top of the world in the biggest beauty pageantry, Miss Universe.
Zozibini Tunzi, a South African beauty goddess was crowned Miss Universe after excelling through though rounds, and answering questions about social issues to proof herself as the ultimate choice.
“I grew up in a world where a woman who looks like me — with my kind of skin and my kind of hair — was never considered to be beautiful,” she said in her last response. “I think it is time that that stops today. I want children to look at me and see my face and I want them to see their faces reflected in mine.”
