Just In: Information that has reached our front desk confirms another accident has been recorded on the Kintampo-Tamale Highway.
According to reports, the accident involved a 60-seater bus was heading toward Bawku in the Upper East Region.
The bus with registration number AS 1557-17, reportedly caught fire at Pinamisa, a farming community in the Bono East Region.
Fortunately, the passengers escaped uninjured as they used emergency exits while some broke the side window shield to escape. It was after they all got off the bus that the fire engulfed the whole vehicle.
This happens to be the third accident on that stretch of road in recent times.
