According to Akuapem Poloo, the organisers believed in her brand and tapped into it in order to get their show more popular.
“The Organisers called me on my business line and told me they want me to be part of the promoters because that is what they know me to be doing on instagram. So they paid me and I did the promotion for them”
Akuapem Poloo who is one of the only 3 people Cardi B follows on instagram, also mentioned that she was speechless when they contacted her for the supposed “Meet and Greet” that caused stir on social media.
“Honestly I was speechless when I was invited as part of the few celebrities who were supposed to join Cardi B for the ‘Meet and Greet’, I thought they would select the big people in the Entertainment industry”
