Manchester City have released their new third kit for the 2019/20 season which is inspired by the superb football played by the Premier League champions.
Pep Guardiola’s side are preparing for the pre-season Asia Trophy which takes place this week, and their third jersey has been unveiled ahead of their arrival in Shanghai.
The shirt uses a striking yellow and peach gradient design, which ’embodies the modernity of the club and its mission to play attractive, technically-skilled and attacking football, from the men’s and women’s first team, right through the academies’.

A statement adds that the kit is ‘inspired by the on-field brilliance of Manchester City’s style of football’.
Guardiola said of the shirt: “Football is a source of inspiration and enjoyment to millions around the world.
“On the pitch, our aim is to play attacking and entertaining football and I’m delighted that the PUMA design team has used this as inspiration for our new Third kit. I look forward to seeing it on-pitch this season.”
The third kit, which is unveiled following the successful launches of City’s home and away kits earlier this month, is available to buy at PUMA.com, ManCity.com and in stores around the world, including the newly renovated City Store at the Etihad Stadium.
The shirt was unveiled ahead of City’s participation in the Asia Trophy, though their preparations for the tournament have been thrown into chaos having missed their flight to China for the second day in a row.
City were due to fly to Shanghai on Saturday, but due to an administrative issue involving travel agent Thomas Cook the flight was pushed back 24 hours. The problem was still not solved on Sunday, however, so Guardiola and his squad are now set to depart for the Far East on Monday.
That would leave City little time to prepare and acclimatise for their opening match of the exhibition tournament, which pits the Premier League champions against West Ham in Nanjing on Wednesday.
