An old businessman identified as Nana Yaw has been arrested for pouring acid on his ex-girlfriend (unknown name) and her mother at their home.
The news, which was reported on Saturday, 15 on UTV, stated the businessman was once arrested for leaking a sex tape of his ex-girlfriend, for which he was later charged with a fine of 1,300 Ghana cedis to compensate his ex-girlfriend.
Due to this, he got angry at his ex-girlfriend and decided to pay her back for disgracing him. He then went to his ex-girlfriend’s abode one evening, poured acid on both the girl and her mum, and fled.
Neighbors, hearing screams from the teenager’s room, rushed to them and, witnessing the incident, quickly rushed the girl and her mum to the hospital for treatment.
The old man was later arrested after being fished out by his friends.
