As Ghana’s Covid-19 positive cases surge up, the Government have announced a new method of detecting and combating the spread.
The Ministry of Health has announced that COVID-19 testing in Ghana is absolutely free for all walk-in requests based on exposure or exhibiting symptoms.
The statement said, public laboratories offering walk-in services for COVID-19 testing are only allowed to charge persons who are travelling.
The statement was released on 27th January 2021, and signed by th Chief Director of the health ministry Kwabena Boadu Oku-Afari.
