Media personality, Berla Mundi, will be hosting the fourth Ghana Makeup Awards (GMA), organisers have announced on Tuesday.
Being organised by Makeup Ghana, the GMA is an annual celebration for the makeup and beauty industry, aimed at fostering excellence, by rewarding and celebrating pioneers, leading professionals and upcoming talent within the industry, as well as businesses and brands who are contributing to economic growth.
This year’s event will come off at the plush Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra on Friday November 13 amidst strict COVID-19 safety protocols.
It is expected to attract a number of personalities and award makeup industry stakeholders who worked extra hard last year.
“We are truly excited to announce our host for this year, the award-winning media personality Berla Mundi. Grab your tickets and join us on Friday,” CEO of Makeup Ghana Rebecca Donkor said on Tuesday.
Berla Mundi, who is currently a presenter at TV3, is very familiar with the beauty and makeup stage. Earlier this year, she hosted the opening ceremony of the fourth edition of the Africa Makeup & Beauty (AMB) Fair, Africa’s largest beauty trade fair held in March 2020 by Makeup Ghana.
She is expected to bring a lot of exciting moments to the award stage on Friday.
She began her media career some eight (8) years ago as host of the music show Rythmz, and lifestyle show Glitterati on GHOne as well as host of Touchdown on Live 91.9 FM. She has so far graced many platforms and has consistently won awards for her style and works.
Her endearing nature, beautiful smile, ability to have witty but funny conversations with her guests and connect with viewers in a personal way have been her strengths and a major reason for her TV success.
