Ghanaian female vocalist, Efya, has expressed her thoughts on Joe Mettle’s recent wedding as she doubted ever getting married herself.
Born Jane Awindor, the soulful singer was approached by Adom Tv’s Abena Abrafi Agyemang and was asked about the gospel musician’s union.
Efya was asked whether she had marriage on her bucket list. She responded by saying she is in no way planning on getting married soon.
She was adamant that the fact that she is enjoying a great career did not mean she should have marriage in her sight.
”Joe Mettle had a beautiful wedding. God bless him, his wife, and their union. Marriage is not the plan right now. I am not ready. Just cos I’m great doesn’t mean I should get married. Any suitors should wait”, she said.
Meanwhile she spoke about her new release ”The One” which features Nigerian superstar, Tiwa Savage.
