Adjetey Annang, one of Ghana’s most successful Movie Stars is now the only man among 3 Judges spearheading the 2020 edition of Ghana’s Most Beautiful (#GMB2020).
Replacing Inspector Bediako – Oscar Provencal, ‘Pusher‘ joins the longest serving judge Linda Yaa Ampah who debuted the show 13 years ago.
Inspector Bediako brought different dynamics to the show when he joined GMB in 2017.
However, Adjetey Annang substitutes him with his wealth of experience in the world of Fine Arts & Culture spanning over 20 years and more. After Farmhouse Productions took over as producers for GMB, Ivan Quashigah saw the need to bring in ‘Pusher‘ to replace the Veteran Actor – Inspector Bediako.
‘Pusher’ has previously worked on multiple projects with the new producer Farmhouse who took over from APL – TV3’s in-house production company. Adjetey Annang first played ‘Pusher’ on Ivan Quashigah’s TV Series ‘Things We do for love‘ in early 2000’s and then its sequel ‘YOLO‘ in 2016.
Did you once had doubt about Adjetey’s performance on the show? Then I guess you lost, because he has been controlling the show with his soft spoken critical views and contributions.
Adjetey Annang holds Masters of Dramatic Arts degree from Wits University in Johannesburg, after his first degree in Fine Arts from the University of Ghana.
He also brings to bare his experience in Performing Arts to support Linda Ampah who is a Fashion Designer and Michelle Attoh a marketing expert to take GMB 2020 to the next level.
The notable Actor has more than 100 films to his credit making him one of the most sought after Actors in Africa.
How much is he making at the end of the show?
With all the amazing skills and knowledge Adjetey Annang will bring on the show, TV3 and Farmhouse has got some high budget for him. Unless, he approached the station to secure the seat as GMB Judge. If not he will be going home with not less than US$8,000 for 13 weeks, roughly 2 hours per episode.
According to a source close to TV3, the budget slated for him (Adjetey Annang) was not below GHC40,000 as a Judge on Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2020.
Meanwhile Linda Ampah, the longest serving judge may not be budgeted for in terms of cash benefit. She is supporting the show in the shadows of GTP and other affiliate Fashion designers.
