Three armed robbers identified as Samuel Kweku Nhyira Amonkwando, Kofi Boateng Amoako, and Reuben Sam have been accused and sentenced to 75 years for conspiring and robbing one Mr. Isaac Henry Oppong who is a Ghanaian returnee from Italy.
The presiding Judge of the Ofankor Circuit Court, His Honor Ebenezer Osei Darko charged Samuel Kweku Nhyira Amonkwando and Kofi Boateng Amoako with conspiracy to rob and robbery whiles Reuben Sam was also charged with conspiracy of the crime.
Samuel Kweku Nhyira Amoakwandor and Kofi Boateng who pleaded not guilty are to serve 30 years concurrently for each of the counts they were convicted on while Reuben Sam to served 15-years.
According to Prosecutor Ernest Agbo, the victim, Isaac Henry Oppong was robbed upon arrival in the country after his girlfriend named Noami Manso conspired with the suspects to rob him and butchered him at Gomoa Budumburam.
