Covid-19: Suspension on Public and Social Gatherings Extended again in Ghana

The President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo by an executive instrument has announced 2 weeks extension during his 8th address the Nation on measures taken to minimize the spread of coronavirus in Ghana.

The new additional 2 weeks extension means that ban on Church gatherings, Schools and other gatherings will not happen for 2 months in total after serving the 2 weeks.

The new 2 weeks extension takes effect 1:00AM, Monday 27th April, 2020.

President Akufo-Addo is confident with time Ghana will win the war against coronavirus.

Meanwhile, Ghana currently has 1,550 confirmed cases of Covid-19 with 155 recoveries and 11 deaths.
