Berla Mundi dazzles in Beautiful ‘Dipo’ outfit and fans are loving it

It’s Ghana Month people. This Friday, we are playing ‘dress-up’ and I have to choose one region to represent on #tv3newday … Which region and look would you suggest? I want to dress up as a dipo-yoo; (flip to see look). What do you think?

In the said Photos, Berla Mundi was dressed in a beautiful outfit that inspires the traditional Dipo rites by the Krobos from the Eatsern Region of Ghana.

This was done as part of TV3’s Ghana Month campaign for the month of March, where they are seeking to promote Ghana in all areas of life such as Wear Ghana, Eat Ghana and more.

However, the beautiful Morning show host together with her co.hosts dressed to depict Ghanaian culture and tradition.

Goodmorning and welcome to Krobo Tribe, from the Eastern Region of Ghana. My look is from the Dipo rite, a very prominent puberty rite performed for virgins among the tribe to initiate them into womanhood and prepare them for marriage. The rites are held every year between the months of April and May and several girls partake in this event which lasts for a period of four days.
