The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed Cape Coast Sports Stadium as the venue to host the Black Stars 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sudan to be played on 27 March, 2020.
The Black Stars honoured the first game at the same venue last year in November, where they defeated South Africa 2-0 with goals by Altetico Madrid star Thomas Partey and youngster Kudus Mohammed.
In a statement announced by the Ghana FA on officials for the game and venue to host the game read, “Maguette Ndiaye from Senegal will be the referee for Ghana’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Sudan”.
“Ndiaye will be assisted by his compatriots El Hadji Malick Samba(Assistant 1), Serigne Cheikh Toure(Assistant 2) and Daouda Gueye (fourth official)”.
“Sanusi Mohammed from Nigeria will be the Match Commissioner”.
“The match will be played at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium in Ghana on Friday 27 March 2020”.
Ghana leads the table in Group C with six (6) points after beating South Africa and Sao Tome in the qualifiers.
