Krzysztof Piatek has officially completed a move to Hertha Berlin making the switch from Serie A to the Bundesliga after just 12 months at AC Milan on a permanent transfer.
The Poland international struggled for the majority of his time at the San Siro despite a fiery start where he managed to score 10 goals in his first 13 games.
Sadly, he only managed 6 goals in the following 28 games and was replaced by a 38 year old Zlatan Ibrahimovic who joined on a bosman deal in January.
The striker is moving on a permanent deal for a reported transfer fee worth 28 million euros. The striker joined the club under Leonardo’s reign as Technical Director but has not been held in high regard by Maldini and Boban therefore the sale.
More significantly, the striker represents another failed attempt to the no. 9 jersey at AC Milan since the departure of Filippo Inzaghi in 2012.
