Ghanaian Gospel Singer, SP Kofi Sarpong has denied rumours going round that he is gay.
The singer who also doubles as a Police officer understands his critics who are of the view that he portrays some feminine characteristics but do not agree with them refering to him as gay.
” “My grandmother gave birth to a lot of girls who lived in my house. I was also so close to my mother so most of the things I was helping her with at home became a part of me which has influenced me my way of life. I even prepared kenkey and sold before” he said in Twi.
Speaking on Peace FM, Saturday on ‘Entertainment Review’, he revealed the person who started the conversation of him being gay was a Police Officer colleague who has even apologized and therefore, he has moved on long time ago.
He further called on Ghanaian to understand his character and clear those rumours out from their minds because it is not true.
