COVID-19: Shatta Wale turns into a Pastor; holds Church Service amidst coronavirus outbreak

Chief Executive of Shatta Movement family, Shatta Wale has held a church service online for his numerous fans around the world in this period of ban on all public gatherings.

Shatta Wale, who has often mentioned that he is a religious and Godfearing person held the service on Twitter to inspire his fans and remind them that God still loves them even in the face of the deadly coronavirus.

In a series of tweets sighted by Vibeweek.com, the ‘Melissa’ hitmaker said though a lot of his fans are scared about what is going on with the spread of the virus, he wants people to know that the Lord is always in the miracle business and he never fails.

“I know most of you are scared but let’s have hope that the Lord is always in the miracle business and he never fails …Let me see all those who believe in the Lord with this emoji,” Shatta Wale posted.

During his Twitter church service, Shatta Wale said the scripture should be the sword and weapon of his fans to fight any situation that makes them feel depressed, adding that they were born to win.

“1 Peter 5:10. Can we all open to the book of Peter which talks about hope ? Somebody shd read to us so we can all share. Today this verse I have given to you shd be your sword and weapon to fight any situation that makes you feel depressed and sad ,my brother my sister trust me YOU WERE BORN TO WIN AND YOU SHALL WIN ..say Amen !!! ,” he preached.

Shatta Wale recently distributed 1,000 hand sanitisers to his fans as the country battles the outbreak of the deadly coronavirus.

This kind gesture, according to Shatta Wale, is to help his fans fight the disease which has been declared a global pandemic.

As it stands, Ghana has confirmed two new cases of the deadly coronavirus also known as COVID-19. This brings it to a total of 21 confirmed cases with one death recorded.
