A release signed by the Ashanti Regional Minister, has confirmed that markets in the Metropolitan, Municipal and District assemblies of the Ashanti Region will be closed for fumigation exercise.
According to the release from the office of the Ashanti Regional co-ordinating council stated that on Friday, 27th March, 2020 for mass spraying exercise in various markets in the Ashanti Region.
In view of this, all markets within the Ashanti Region will be closed down for the success of the exercise to combat the deadly disease.
The statement further explained that, the chemicals to be used in spraying is not harmful and therefore no cause for fear of negative effects.
