COVID-19: 8 more die as Ghana’s case count hits 31,057

Eight more persons have died of the novel coronavirus in Ghana.

This, according to the Ghana Health Service (GHS), brings the country’s death toll to 161.

The GHS website also revealed on July 24, 2020, that 691 new Covid-19 infections been confirmed as the tally rises to 31,057.

27,801 people have recovered or been discharged.

These are samples that were taken from June 17 to July 20, 2020 but reported from the lab on July 21, said GHS.

The country’s number of active cases is now 3,095.
