Abraham Atta gets another international feature after ‘Beast of No Nation’

US-based Ghanaian young actor Abraham Atta is making another giant move in his career, as he has landed a new role in the movie entitled, “Tazmanian Devil”.  This is the first project Attah and Boakye, both of Ghanaian origin have been on together.

The Ashaiman born sensational boy’s talent was discovered when he landed his first-ever movie role as Agu in Netflix’s produced movie “Beasts of No Nation”.

Following his exceptional accomplishment in the Award-winning movie ‘Beast of No Nation’ starring alongside Idris Elba, Abraham Atta will again star in Tasmanian Devil, which will shoot sometime this year in Dallas, Texas, a feature debut from writer/director Solomon Onita, Jr. Adepero Oduye

Spirit Award-winner Abraham Attah,  hails from Ga–Dangme in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana has worked his way through to reach the top dining with the strong and topmost personalities in Hollywood.

Co-stars of the feature debut from writer/director Solomon Onita Jr. include Adepero Oduye (Central Park Five and Pariah), Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine (The ChiQueen of Katwe), and Kwesi Boakye (ClawsFlight).

‘Tazmanian Devil’ is a story about a 19-year-old Nigerian immigrant (Attah) who, after moving to the US, struggles to bond with his estranged father (Mwine) who abandoned him and his mother (Oduye), in Nigeria, to chase his own calling of becoming a missionary.

When he finds acceptance in his process of joining a college fraternity, it is challenged by his strict and religious father, leaving him searching for his own moral ground.
