57-year-old woman, Elizabeth Yamoah who recently graduated from the Junior High School (JHS) has been featured on BBC.

Elizabeth Yamoah a few weeks ago made headlines after she graduated from the JHS due to her old age.

Sharing her inspiring story on BBC, Elizabeth Yamoah recounted how her decision to continue her education earned her mockery in society.

According to her, she never gave up as she was determined to further her education and follow her dreams and aspirations.

The 57-year-old JHS graduate sharing her story on BBC spoke English frequently which has wowed viewers.

She aspires to be a nurse and a Member of Parliament(MP) for her constituency or area.

Elizabeth Yamoah enrolled in Ododen Presby Junior High School in 2017.

She recently completed JHS and is regarded as Ghana’s oldest JHS graduate in the 2020 Basic Education Certificate Examination (B.E.C.E).
