The opposition National Democratic Congress parliamentary candidate has won the disputed Sene West Parliamentary seat with 13,116 of the valid votes cast.
The NPP candidate polled 13,100 votes.After votes in the disputed ballot box were counted, the NDC candidate had 275 while the NPP gathered 148.
The votes were added to the already counted ballot to produce a winner in the election.The election in the constituency was plagued with an injunction after the NPP candidate felt aggrieved with the counting process.The results bring the current numbers in Parliament to 137 for the NDC and 137 for the NPP with 1 Independent candidate who has opted to sit with the NPP in the chamber.
