29/05/2019

Following her decade long career, Rihanna has been steadily building her empire. From pop music to design collaborations she has been hustling her way to the top. The 31-year-old singer has now launched her new luxury line – Fenty with the biggest luxury conglomerate LVMH. It is also the parent company of her cosmetic brand Fenty Beauty.

While announcing the brand,  Bernard Arnault, Chairman and CEO of LVMH said: “Everybody knows Rihanna as a wonderful singer, but through our partnership at Fenty Beauty, I discovered a true entrepreneur, a real CEO and a terrific leader. She naturally finds her full place within LVMH.”

The Diamonds singer has made it pretty evident that the brand will be non-traditional and different from the kind of things other brands are offering. While the brand is her representation of her personal outlook and it reflects in the collection.

For the launch of her pop-up, Rihanna wore one of her pieces from the line. Strong, perfectly fitting and sexy, the features a silhouette that is oversized, snatches the waist and make the butt look bigger at the same time. Decked out in one of her own white corseted mini-dress blazers at the launch of her pop-up, “This is what made me the snatchest in my waist and my butt look biggest.” The ethnic women aka the Fenty women that they like to call have been loving the collection already. She also added to this saying, “As the releases continue to drop, you’ll see that more and more.”

Looking at her first collection, the brand is a modern take on the power silhouette and clothing that nobody can clearly get enough of. The line includes shoes and jewellery, with sexy, strappy stilettos and statement earrings that coil up around the ears and drop with crystals suspended from different points.
