It is not clear what may have started the fire but we can confidently report that giving the snail-paced approach of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) to control the fire, nothing will be salvaged.
A number of bystanders who stood helplessly at the scene were dissatisfied with the approach of the GNFS, with some hooting at the men who were there to control the fire.
At the time of this report, there were two fire tenders at the scene but it took more than an hour for the men to start fighting the fire.
