Award winning dancehall artist, Stonebwoy has said that he doesn’t mind taking up a political office in the future.
According to the “Kpo K3k3” hitmaker, if the only way he has to serve his country is by assuming a political office, he will definitely go for it.
as an ordinary person also do have the power. But if I do have to assume a political post to be able to serve my country, I will go for it,” he said.
Speaking to DJ Reuben on the Drive Time on Kumasi-based Luv FM, Stonebwoy also added that holding a political office is service to the nation.
It’s a service to the nation, so if it fits for me to be in a political post to be able to serve my country, not only as a musician who holds a Ghanaian passport, then I will,” he added.
Stonebwoy was in Kumasi to host his next session of the “Independence Day” concert after a successful show in the capital, Accra. He also plans on organizing an international concert where he will host other international acts.
