Asenso-Boakye beats Bantama MP to book ticket for election 2020
A Deputy Chief of Staff at the presidency Francis Asenso-Boakye has unseated the Member of Parliament for Bantama, Daniel Okyem Boakye, to represent the New Patriotic Party in the December 2020 parliamentary poll. He polled 456 votes in the Saturday primary as against the 122 secured by Mr Okyem who was seeking a second term.
