Following the outbreak of Coronavirus, the govt of Ghana is said to be considering an option to call for another partial lockdown as new measures to put the pandemic under control.

This was made known by Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the Minister of Information in a press conference while commenting on calls for localized covid-19 cases which has increased Ghana’s cases to 19,388 as of July 4,2020.

“As the analysis goes on, how we have complied with this bit of the easing will inform the next line of action. A re-imposition of restrictions in some areas or further easing will all be determined by the outcomes as we observe them moving forward,” Mr. Oppong Nkrumah explained.
