The award winning Ghanaian vocalist and songwriter, Gladstorm Kwabena Akwaboah Jnr., professionally known as stage Akwaboah Jnr has backed his former record label boss Sarkodie to win 2020 VGMA Artiste of the year.

The former SARKCESS MUSIC signee believes Sarkodie’s hardwork in the year under review makes him a prime contender for the prestigious award.
Akwaboah tweeted;
‘But on the Real..Vgma Artiste of the year 2019 y3 SARKODIE.. wonte ase3 aa Da ne nkyene nsuo.. Mede wo b3y3 anwamoo ..tenkew!!!’
“Sarkodie deserves the VGMA Artist of the Year. If you don’t agree with me, you can turn into salt solution and I’ll proceed to use for braised rice.”
We recall, Sarkodie in 2019 released a 6 track ALPHA EP which featured Joey B and Ebony. He later released his much anticipated 6th studio album BLACKLOVE and many other hit tracks include the famous Oofeetsɔ .
